Alive Clubs are an innovative way of bringing older people together – no matter where they live.
A haven of friendship, activity and connection. Alive clubs enable older people living in the community to have 3 hours of support and engagement in a comfortable and friendly environment.
Increasingly, those living at home might need more support, friendship and care. Alive Clubs enable older people to access activities and the support they need in a care home environment. Whether they are living with dementia, or might have other health needs, the clubs provide social interaction and engagement within a home from home setting. With the reassurance of having our facilitator and a member of care staff on hand for support.
What happens at an Alive Club?
Alive Clubs are 3 hours long, and contain a blend of music, tea, art, conversation, gardening, reminiscence, games – the actual content will be designed to reflect and respond to the interests and hobbies of those who are attending. We want people who come to contribute to the choice of activity, so we can ensure we are meeting everyone’s needs and it remains fun and fresh! And of course we have tea and cake!
Who can come?
Alive Clubs are open to any older member of the local community. We are opening more up in care homes every day. We want people who are living at home to feel this is a positive way of increasing their social circle and engagement, in a really comfortable environment. Please give us a call in the office and we can discuss your individual needs to ensure the Alive Clubs are suitable for you.
How much are Alive Clubs?
Alive Clubs are just £20 for 3 hours of activity and support. We feel this is great value for money, and offers people support, friendship, and expert engagement. You can pay on the day or pay with us before you go.
