Book a Place on a session at Alive’s Community Dementia-Friendly Allotment
Every Monday and Tuesday, from 1.30 till 3.30, Alive’s dementia-friendly allotment will be open to anyone living in the community with dementia, as well as their carers, a relative or a friend.
The site is fully accessible with wheelchair-friendly paths, raised beds and a compost toilet. We also have a social shed for drizzly days, shade for when the sun’s shining, adapted tools and lots of comfy seating.
Due to ongoing concerns related to covid, we are capping groups at 4 people. This number refers just to the person living with dementia. While we assess interest in the sessions we would be grateful if you’d only book one session a week. Please let us know if you’re interested in attending on both days though – if a group is undersubscribed on the day you’ll be welcome to attend.
Note that in the booking form below “Capacity” refers to the number of spaces taken vs the total number available. So 1/4 means one person is booked on already out of a total number of 4 participants. If the session is fully booked it will say 4/4. Under “Care Home” put “N/A” or leave blank.
Please contact the Community Gardens officer on 07379498764 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more/request to be notified when the sessions are open to new members.
