Activities & Sessions Facilitator
Jordi is an inclusive arts facilitator and performer whose practice centres on connection, participation, storytelling, and amplifying the voices of people from marginalised groups. Working across applied theatre, circus, puppetry, movement, and voice, she creates accessible, participatory spaces that bring people together.
Since finishing her training at the National Centre for Circus Arts, Jordi developed her inclusive practice collaborating with socially engaged artists in the UK and across the Baltic countries.
Jordi is a lead artist at Entelechy Arts where she facilitates Ambient Jam (a movement collective engaging people with PMLD through sensory, movement-based, and non-verbal forms of communication within inclusive practice)
Co-creator of Third Figure, a newly formed International puppet theatre company, Jordi and Edgars Niklasons combine life-sized puppetry, physical theatre, and circus to create visually rich performance.
She is committed to developing her artistic practice, innovating ways of dialoguing with people who communicate differently through creative and physical engagement. Jordi is excited to be joining the Alive team to continue this work across community settings in and around Bath and Bristol.
