South Gloucestershire Meeting Centre Activity Support Worker
We are looking for a Dementia Activity Support Worker, to work 6 hours a day, 3 days a week in our Dementia Meeting Centre in South Gloucestershire.
You will run group activities, group discussions and support individuals living with dementia and their carers as part of a small team in two friendly community settings, including Bradley Stoke.
Experienced at working with people living with dementia, you will have good people and groupwork skills, be organised and have a positive outlook. But mostly you will be passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred dementia care and support.
Closing date is 10am on Monday 4th July 2022.
Salary: £35,000 p.a. pro rata depending on experience, plus contributory pension
Hours: Part time 2 days or 15 hours per week (with the possibility of increasing to 3)
We are seeking a talented individual to oversee and manage our finances. Along with a recognised accountancy qualification or relevant experience, you will have a successful track record of developing and managing budgetary systems and accounts. You will be familiar with charity financial reporting requirements and know how to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.

Building Wellbeing Resilience Project Manager
Salary: £25,000 p.a. pro rata
Hours: Part-time – Four days per week. 12 Month fixed-term contract
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious charity in a sector with huge need. You will become part of a highly motivated group of staff as a Project Manager leading and developing a new project ‘Building Wellbeing Resilience’.
You will be an enthusiastic and organised project lead with experience of training/teaching and sharing learning with adults. You will have demonstratable dedication to promoting positive wellbeing and have an awareness of issues facing older adults.
As naturally strong communicator you will be confident in building new relationships, engaging groups and putting people at ease. You will share topics in a way that is informative and supportive, and you will be comfortable in holding the space for groups to discuss sensitive issues. You will work collaboratively with older adults and practitioners from a range of disciplines to continue to adapt and evolve your project outputs ensuring that the project authentically meets the needs of older people.
With previous experience of efficiently leading projects (or similar transferrable skills) you will be comfortable in working autonomously across the life-cycle of a project from design to evaluation. You will be aware of what is needed to make a project run smoothly and how to gather learning to evaluate its success.
