Dementia Meeting Centre Manager

Location: Remote with travel across Bristol, Portishead & surrounding areas
Salary: £28,500 – £30,000 (FTE)
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 22.5 hours per week

The Role

At Alive, we believe people living with dementia should have opportunities to connect, contribute and enjoy life. Our Dementia Meeting Centres are welcoming groups where members and carers can find friendship and support, and where activities grow from members’ own interests and ideas.

We’re looking for a manager to lead the centres and the people who make them possible. You’ll create a warm, flexible environment for members, support their carers, lead staff and volunteers, and work with local partners to help more people benefit from the service.

You’ll need experience of working with people living with dementia and their carers, confidence in leading others, and strong organisational skills. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who listens, builds trust and sees the person beyond their diagnosis.
