Mia joined the Alive team in September 2025, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her role at the Bristol Elders groups we support.
As a Registered Nurse, Mia is passionate about supporting equity in healthcare. Her current research looks at how trust, distrust, and mistrust in UK Healthcare services are constructed among Black Caribbean people living with long-term health conditions.
A mum of three and fan of all things artsy, Mia enjoys exploring different approaches to health and wellbeing, recognising that these can be unique for everyone.
