Catherine is a registered Occupational Therapist and Student Educator currently working with a local NHS Mental Health Trust. She has worked with adults needing acute and intensive psychiatric care as well as those living with a Learning Disability and complex needs. Catherine has a particular interest in dementia, sensory integration, the impact of trauma, neurodiversity and the links between cognitive well-being and health. 

Catherine believes that everyone, regardless of age, has a right to meaningful, stimulating and balanced occupational engagement.

Born and bred in Bristol, Catherine has been an Alive Trustee since 2009. She is married with two adult children. She is an avid reader with a passion for literacy but also enjoys gardening, walking and history.
