A Finnish performer, maker and community dance artist based in Britain since 1987, Eeva trained initially at LAMDA 1989-92, and has since continued her professional development in dance, somatic movement and mindfulness-based practices.

Her major influences have been Skinner Releasing Technique, New Butoh Dance and Body & Earth work. Since the 1990s she has been performing internationally in dance theatre & film, site specific and cross art form works and TV. Between 2002-2021, she and her husband Andy Paget created and ran the rural creative retreat p e n p y n f a r c h, Body-Movement-Environment and ‘this is somatic’ workshop programmes.

She works with people of all ages and abilities, including Creative Dance with children, parent & child Movement Play, young people with disabilities, adults with learning disabilities, and the elderly in care home settings. Most recently Eeva has lead weekly sessions for Stroke Association Wales (2020-21) and assisted Rosetta Life in projects to do with Vision Loss & Proprioception after Stroke and Heart of Care with Bristol Black Carers.
