Sam started her career in horticultural therapy by volunteering at our Brentry allotment and quickly realised she wanted to share and learn how the benefits of gardening can transform lives by letting us process our emotions and rebuild our emotional resilience.

As a trained gardener, Sam uses her gardening expertise to show people how they can connect with the soil and plants and thrive at growing themselves.

She facilitates community gardening groups, including our site at Lawrence Hill Health Centre as part of their green care patient referrals.

Sam is passionate about the benefits of gardening and how it can reduce social isolation, bringing out our personal capabilities.

In her spare time, she volunteers for a local community garden in Bristol, loves cooking, and tries to keep up after her sprocker spaniel (being her personal chauffeur to the puddles and streams of South Glos!).
