The Role

We are seeking an exceptional communicator and organiser to recruit, train, coordinate and support our amazing team of volunteers, enabling them to help older people participate in our gardening and creative arts activities in both care homes and the community. Experienced at working with volunteers, you will have strong interpersonal and networking skills, a positive outlook and a collaborative approach to achieving goals.

Finance and Admin Officer

The role

We are seeking a highly skilled finance and admin officer to come and help us in our busy and dynamic office.  You will be responsible for answering all internal and external queries, and general admin tasks whilst also maintaining our financial systems. You will be managing invoicing, credit control and our online payment system.

We are looking for someone who is tech savvy, experienced in online payment systems and is also proficient in Microsoft 365.

Dementia HIT Coordinator – Bristol Health Integration Team (HIT)

The role

Bristol Dementia Health Integration Team (HIT) is a group of professionals working together to transform care for people affected by dementia through comprehensive research, integrating and improving care services and support, and by creating dementia-friendly communities.   

We are looking for a dynamic and talented project manager to join our team who will coordinate the day to day work of the Dementia HIT. From organising meetings with partnership organisations, liaising between the different HITS and providing vital day to day project management, you will play an essential role in ensuring the success of the Dementia HIT. Experienced in evaluating and monitoring work plans, regular reporting, writing and coordinating funding applications, you will be a great team player who thrives on bringing people, ideas and strategy together.   

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional communicator to work across different organisations (Clinical Commissioning Groups, Acute and Mental Health NHS Trusts, Universities and the Alzheimer’s Society amongst others), to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by dementia. This post will be hosted by the Alive Team, a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of older people.
