Alive and The Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service have come together to provide online support, ideas and inspiration to Care Homes to help them continue to support their residents in meaningful activity. These will be a mixture of face-to-face and online workshops.

Aimed at care and activity staff, this 1.5-2 hour long forum will provide activity ideas and inspiration for those who are delivering activity on a day-to-day basis. Find more information here.

Our next Activity Cupboard is on 25th January 2023 when we’ll be bringing back, by popular demand, the Empathy Suit Experience.

• See the suit in action and experience what it feels like to be living with dementia; to gain a deeper understanding of how we communicate, support and engage with residents.
• This workshop is open to all activities/well-being staff, and will give you opportunities to discuss, share ideas and network
• Workshop will include an eating exercise – please let us know if you have any food intolerances or allergies.
• Refreshments served

Date: Wednesday 25th January 2-4 pm

Location: Trymview Care Home, Southmead Road, Westbury On Trym, Bristol, BS10 5DW
