Alive are offering wonderful new engaging sessions to inspire creativity in care home settings.

We are hosting virtual workshops with the Former Poet Laureate of Portsmouth. Each online workshop will introduce a theme and explore this topic through poetry.

It will be an opportunity for activity staff and their residents to research beforehand and then share verses that they feel fit within the subject matter. The activity co-ordinator will then work closely with each care home to produce a stanza of rhyme. These stanzas will be combined to compose a complete poem, which will then be sent out to each care home, to share with friends and family.

Join us and a few other care homes for an hour-long session about one of the topics below.
