Book a place on a session at Alive’s Community Dementia-Friendly Allotment in Brislington, South Bristol.
From 28 April 2025, Alive’s dementia-friendly allotment in South Bristol will be open on Monday afternoons to older people in the community.
While there, participants can attend facilitated gardening sessions, get their hands dirty with like-minded green-fingered people and enjoy a well-earned cuppa before going home.
This session is for people living with dementia and someone in their support network who can attend with them.
The site is fully accessible, with wheelchair-friendly paths, raised beds, and a proper toilet. We also have a social space for drizzly days, shade for when the sun’s shining, adapted tools, and lots of comfy seating.
Sessions will be resuming on Monday afternoons from 28 April 2025.
To book your space, please use the booking form below.
Please get in touch with the Community Gardens Officer (South Bristol) at 07379498764 or email communitygardening@aliveactivities.org if you need more information.
Note that in the booking form below, “Capacity” refers to the number of spaces taken vs the total number available. So 1/6 means one person is booked already out of a total number of 6 participants. If the session is fully booked, it will say 6/6. Put the participant’s name under “Care Home” or leave it blank.
Please note that we are not currently running care home visits at our South Bristol allotment.
