Book a Place on a session at Alive’s Community Dementia-Friendly Allotment in Brislington, South Bristol.

Every Tuesday until the end of January 2025, Alive’s dementia-friendly allotment, South Bristol, will be open to older people in the community. While there, participants can attend facilitated gardening sessions, get their hands dirty with like-minded green-fingered people and enjoy a well-earned cuppa before going home.

This session is for people living with dementia and someone in their support network who can attend with them.

The site is fully accessible, with wheelchair-friendly paths, raised beds, and a proper toilet. We also have a social space for drizzly days, shade for when the sun’s shining, adapted tools, and lots of comfy seating.

Sessions at this site will be paused from the end of January, but will be resuming in spring. Sessions will continue running at our North Bristol site through winter on Monday afternoons, 1.30 – 3.00.
