Launched in response to the pandemic, Alive on Demand was our dementia-friendly, interactive video-streaming platform with over 300 original videos; designed to spark conversation and evoke memories.
Every subscription included access to additional resources, including quizzes and crafts, to complement each video and provide further engagement on every choice of topic.
About Alive on Demand
Inspired by the conversations we had with the older people and care staff we worked with, Alive on Demand was a video library created to support group and 1-2-1 activity in care homes: “an activities expert in your back pocket!”.
Covering topics such as local history, nature, and music, the bespoke videos drew on our experience of creating engaging activity sessions for older residents, and those living with dementia, and covered a variety of topics including local history, nature, and music:
Through an open dialogue with our audience, the videos reflected what older people wanted to see, delivered in a way to best support care partners.
In 2022, our Alive on Demand service was honoured at the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards, winning the prestigious Technology Award.
