  • An introduction to our organisation and your role, including our expectations, in writing
  • Ongoing support and feedback from the Volunteer Coordinator and session facilitators
  • A safe working environment where you are being treated fairly and as part of the team
  • Timely reimbursement of agreed expenses – up to £10/volunteering day
  • Relevant training and further learning materials
  • Confidential data management
  • Information about our policies and procedures 
  • Insurance that covers your volunteering activities 
  • The opportunity to learn new skills
  • The opportunity to connect with other volunteers
  • A reference, if desired

What we expect from you …

  • You have the desire to support and engage with people with complex needs 
  • You have good communication skills and let us know if you are unable to attend a session 
  • You are reliable and punctual 
  • You adhere to our Health & Safety guidelines 
  • You take part in our training sessions and do an enhanced DBS check if required
