We run two free support groups in Winscombe, North Somerset, focussing on the wellbeing of people living with dementia, and carers.

Dementia Support Group in Winscombe
This free group involves reminiscence and activities to stimulate the brain and offers mutual support plus practical advice in a friendly setting. It is suitable for those with mild to moderate dementia or those who are concerned about their memory. If the individual attending is independent in personal care, a carer does not have to stay.
Refreshments are provided and all are welcome.
When: Every Monday, excluding bank holidays, from 10am to 12noon

Carer’s Wellbeing Group in Winscombe
This free support group focuses on supporting a carer’s wellbeing. There is an opportunity to meet other carers, share challenges and experience mutual understanding. Outside speakers can be arranged depending on the needs of the group.
Refreshments are provided and all are welcome.
When: 2nd Monday of the month from 10am to 12noon.
